The Civic Cup is known as one of the most competitive club motosrport championships in the UK.
Formed in 2011 The Civic Cup has grown from a series into a recognised MSA championship. Recent years have seen the Civic Cup run with BRSCC supporting the likes of TCR UK, VW Cup and have attracted a lot of attention/spectators. at the start of 2020 despite a complicated year due to Covid-19, director of Maximum Motorsport Stewart Lines has taken on the Civic Cup and has exciting things set for 2021!
The Championship has just secured a calendar as part of the Time Attack UK package, Civic Cup is set to continue its growth and produce yet more exhilarating racing!

After racing competively in the Civic Cup for the past 6 years and been the longest standing current dirver, Dave has decided to take his knowledge and experience from the Civic Type R and the championship and setup Kinetic Motorsport race team!
Kinetic Motorsport will be playing an active role in the Civic Cup offering the ability to join the team at all different levels regardless of your budget!
- Own car race support - bring your own car and we will do the rest for you. Including driver support, data analyisis, social media adveritising through the team
- Race Weekend hire - we have available 1 top spec Civic Cup car which is going through a winter refresh and will be ready for the start of the season.
- Personalised package - Have your own mechanics and just need some extra support with car setup advice or have a perosnalised package that you want let us know and we will accomodate you!

Own car race support
Sometimes you may have some limited mechanical knowledge, or maybe you have your own mechanic but are entering a championship that you are new to and as such unfamiliar with car setup and need some support. Kinetic Motorsport can assist by providing race weekend support but with the added benefit of using your own car! This is a cost effective option and will help you get on pace.
Added benefits include
- Driver data analysis - We will sit down and analyse the data from each car running in the team. This is a great way to home in on those sections on the circuit where you are loosing valuable time. By utilising the data of each driver we can soon see where one dirver may be braking later or carrying more speed though the corner, by overlapping the data faster lap times can be achieved and is a great way to have that advantage on circuit!
- Mechanical support - If you need a mechanic we can help, wether this be changing an engine or swapping out a gearbox between races, we have the experience and knowldege to ensure we do our best to make sure you are on circuit when you need to be regardless of the situation!
- Awning space - As part of the team we currently have a 8x4M awning where cars can undertake any work needed.
- Discounted shop access - Benefit from driver discounts, Kinetic Motorsport have negotiated discounted rates through suppliers and as such would like to pass discounts on to their dirvers.
- Spares and repairs - We have a range of spares to take the ciurcuit, so if you need a gearbox, a new diff, a new camber arm, wheel bearings, or new shockers we can provide at the circuit meaning we can do our best to get you back out on track!

Our car coupled up with the right driver is capable of been a front running car. The car is currently in for a winter refresh and will be ready to hit the season running in 2021!

I contacted Dave as I have followed the Civic Cup for a while, I figured he would be the ideal person to ask a few questions being in the series a good while, I recently decided to have a go racing and wanted to join the Civic Cup but me and my car wasn't quite up to speed yet. Instantly after messaging Dave replied with a contact number and asked me to call, we spent a good hour on the phone chatting, and that was it I'd made up my mind to have a go, Dave helped me with what parts I would need to get up to spec and also supplied these parts at a very competitive price. I will also be using Dave to set up my car and give it once over to get it ready for the season. Overall very happy with the service provided and very much looking forward to getting on track next year.

Dave has been very supportive throughout our first full season in the Miltek Civic Cup Championship. We had various issues with the car and it’s set up at some of the earlier rounds. Dave worked hard on the car , changing the suspension set up completely. He also supported Ross with some driver tuition and data analysis. This resulted in Ross’s highest place qualifying and finishes of the season. We are very much looking forward to racing with Dave, as part of Kinetic Motorsport in 2021 Milltek Civic Cup Championship.
